Thanks Cath for showing us how ‘Rent to Buy’ works. It makes a lot of sense and finally I have my daughter and her partner getting a small deposit together, so they will be able to start looking at ‘ Rent to Buy’ houses and move out on their own within 6 months. I think she will be getting ahead of her friends….. if they are smart her friends will check it out too!

My story is probably the same as many people, I have a great job but my partner works for himself and we’ve found that we could not get finance for a home loan.

Thanks for taking us through all the things we needed to know and what to expect. We really liked the owners so it was easy to work with them. They will manage the repayments and the credits for the house painting that we are doing. They will make sure that the bank will see that we can make the size of repayments that will service a loan.

 

I am amazed at justhow easy it is to get into a house without going to the banks. We found a great home that suits our budget and costs under $700 per week, part of which will come off the house – and we moved in forjust $10,000 Deposit!

 

I don’t think we could’ve done it any other way and are now looking at going to the bank in 2 years, after we have paid over $30,000 towards our deposit I am rapt!. Thanks Cath.

Just a bit of a note to tell you how great things worked out for me with my place at Marsden and to say thanks for all your support and advice through the whole thing….

 

I fell for the property investor’s myth that a negatively geared place is the best thing for wealth accumulation. Well I know who was accumulating the wealth and it wasn’t me. The Banks were pocketing nearly $150 per week of my hard earned for a property that was going down in value.

 

I was scared to sell because the market was so slow and when I added the real estate agent & legal costs I could of lost money.

 

After working with you I found a buyer who was happy to pay the price I wanted and I had no agent fee’s to pay.

 

Now I have a very happy tenant because part of her rent is going toward her deposit and one day soon she will be able to refinance and have her name on the deeds.

I am happy because I am now making money every week on my property.
